In this piece, I wanted to show how in group we can often feel like we are on our own little island despite being with others in a vast ocean of exploration. Time is bobbing, sinking? in the center, group members show different emotions that can be interpreted as exasperation, anxious, calm, relaxed, bored, attentive. Groups go through different stages, and can feel isolating at times when the group dynamics are forming, or during transitional phases. One group member who appears relaxed and serene is "watering" the scene to keep "the flow" of the therapy waters going despite "halts" in process.
