This image was inspired by the stunning and complex graffiti art I stumbled upon during travels to Eastern Europe. I found so many images that combined greyscale set amidst colorful tones in whimsical scenes that just add to the mystical backdrop of so much of this area.This piece aims to represent the combination of simple and vivid imagery together that evokes both stillness, peace, and also an undercurrent of unsettling and foreboding expressed in the graffiti there.
